A · Halal Certification Service
What does MNS Modulaz's certification preparation cover? A gap analysis, then the paperwork and controls.
MNS Modulaz is a halal certification consultancy: it prepares a business for JAKIM's audit, and the business applies itself. The preparation starts with a gap analysis against JAKIM's requirements, the conditions listed below with the clause for each. MNS Modulaz then works with the business on what is missing: the documents and SOPs, and the internal halal control system JAKIM asks for at the company's size, an IHCS for micro and small companies and a HAS for medium and large ones (see requirements by company size).
The business applies under its own account on MYeHALAL, JAKIM's online application system, and the competent authority handling the application, JAKIM or a state Islamic religious council or department (MAIN/JAIN), deals with it directly. MNS Modulaz Sdn. Bhd. is entry 18 on JAKIM's Rakan Strategik MIHA list (RSMIHA-2026-025, valid 1 June 2026 – 31 May 2029), JAKIM list, page 12.

Halal Coaching
Halal Coaching supports a business through the certification journey while it puts the needed changes in place, so that its operations line up with halal standards. It comes with guides, best-practice documents and training resources for the staff, and with internal audits that find what to improve before the formal certification evaluation.
ForA business changing its operation before it applies, that wants support at each step.
Halal Do With Us (DIY)
Halal Do With Us helps a business close its own compliance gaps, with practical recommendations and a detailed, transparent report on where it stands on halal certification readiness.
ForA business that does the work itself, with a readiness report to work from.
Halal Gap Analysis
Halal Gap Analysis is the gap analysis against JAKIM's requirements on its own: the business compared with the conditions above, and the gaps named.
ForA business that wants to know where it stands before it chooses how to close the gaps.
B · Our Training
What halal training does MNS Modulaz run? Five programmes, each for a different job.
MNS Modulaz's halal training is for business owners and their teams: what halal principles mean on a real production line, how to judge ingredients and suppliers, and how an application is put together. The programmes use practical examples, case studies, workshops and simulations, so that people practise the decisions they make at work. Three of the trainers are the Fasilitator Halal named on MNS Modulaz's JAKIM entry.
Two names need care. JAKIM's manual sets its own halal awareness training for processing staff and its own halal competency training for the Internal Halal Committee, and both have rules about who may give them. The Halal Awareness and Halal Competency rows below say how MNS Modulaz's programmes of those names relate to them.
Halal Mastery
Halal Mastery teaches halal principles through practical examples, case studies and real-life scenarios from different industries, preparing participants for the certification journey.
ForPeople preparing their business for certification who learn best from cases.
Halal Navigator
Halal Navigator runs interactive workshops and simulations in which participants apply halal principles to real-world decisions in their own business.
ForThe people who make those decisions in the business.
Halal Competency
Halal Competency trains employees through workshops and simulations: identifying halal-compliant ingredients, evaluating suppliers and putting good practice in place in their own roles. It is not the halal competency training JAKIM's manual requires at least every 3 years for each member of the Internal Halal Committee, which must come from a halal training provider registered under JAKIM's Halal Professional Board (HPB) or from the competent authority.
ForEmployees who handle ingredients and suppliers.

How To Get Halal
How To Get Halal is a Malay-language course by Syafiq Sufakhi, sold at htgh.halal-solution.com, in four parts: the basic halal concept; who can apply, with the application journey, the full document list and food SOP preparation; the certification requirements, including raw materials; and case studies of why applications fail. JAKIM's steps in English: the certification process.
ForMalay-speaking applicants preparing their own application.
Halal Awareness
Halal Awareness is MNS Modulaz's halal awareness session for a company's team. JAKIM's manual also requires halal awareness training: for new workers within 3 months of appointment, and at least every 3 years for all workers involved in processing and/or services, covering the halal concept and the Malaysian halal certification procedure. Given by a third party, that training must come from an organisation registered under JAKIM's Halal Professional Board (HPB) or from the competent authority; a company's own Halal Executive or Halal Supervisor may give it in-house to its own staff. MNS Modulaz is not on JAKIM's list of halal training providers (June 2026), so for the required training use a provider on JAKIM's list or your own Halal Executive or Supervisor.
ForA team that wants a general grounding in halal.

C · Food safety & quality
Which food safety and quality training does MNS Modulaz offer? MeSTI, GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001.
MNS Modulaz trains food businesses in MeSTI, GMP and HACCP, and teaches ISO 9001. Halal and food safety meet in the same rooms: for food and drink products JAKIM's manual expects MS 1500:2019, the Food Act 1983, the Food Regulations 1985 and the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009 to be complied with, and asks for processing to meet good hygiene practice and/or good manufacturing practice.
Food handlers need a Food Handler Training certificate from an institution recognised by the Ministry of Health (KKM) and a valid anti-typhoid vaccination; that certificate is not among the training MNS Modulaz lists.

For overseas companies
Can MNS Modulaz help an overseas company? With both programmes, and on the Malaysian side.
MNS Modulaz explains which of JAKIM's routes fits an overseas company's product and, when the product is made in Malaysia, runs the same preparation as for any Malaysian business: the gap analysis, documents, SOPs, internal halal control and training for the Malaysian operation. JAKIM's domestic manual covers companies registered in Malaysia or overseas that make their products in Malaysia, at their own plant or at a contract manufacturer that already holds an OEM-scheme certificate.
A product made abroad has two programmes. It can be certified by a Foreign Halal Certification Body (FHCB), one of the foreign bodies JAKIM recognises, as the Trade Descriptions Order 2011 allows; or, since 1 January 2024, a company registered in Malaysia can apply to JAKIM under the Halal International Program, JAKIM's procedure for international manufacturing, with an audit at the plant abroad. On either route the applicant applies itself; MNS Modulaz does not. Every step in full: overseas companies.
MNS Modulaz also offers Halal Overseas Training: halal training for foreign halal certification bodies, and advice to halal certification bodies on halal matters.
